BlackTagBags basically fell off the back of a truck back in 1998. I’d been stitching up make-like-sample projects at WAVE Products for six or seven years, and then I embarked on a teaching journey (mostly English and photography). Steve and Helen sent me off with a Consew 256, a 6′ x 10′ table, and a half-baked work ethic. BlackTagBags is a done-is-better-than-perfect shop for sure!
With so many of my janky bags out there, it’s often difficult to remember specifics — each has a story to tell and a flaw to hide. And those reckless repairs? Shameful!
